Lanna Ban Hotel was born from the desire to offer travelers a unique experience, where the serenity of Thai architectural style merges with the natural beauty of the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Located in Cocles, Puerto Viejo, our boutique hotel recreates the charm of a small Lanna village in northern Thailand, combining harmony, spirituality and comfort in a lush tropical setting.

Every detail has been carefully thought out: from the gardens with imported lotuses, to the handcrafted marble finishes in the bathrooms and the hardwood structures that make each bungalow an intimate retreat.

Here, authentic relaxation, close hospitality and respect for nature are our pillars. With only nine bungalows, we offer an exclusive atmosphere, ideal for those seeking to disconnect from the fast pace of the world and reconnect with the essentials.

It is very well located, you cross the street and you have kilometers of beach in a quiet area with restaurants and stores, nicer and cleaner than Puerto Viejo. The place breathes peace, lots of vegetation and animals, you can even see more fauna than in the national park. The swimming pool is incredible. One of the best places I've been.

An impeccable garden, very comfortable pool. Every day you see a new animal. The bungalows have a very nice design but lack maintenance. They are also located very close to the road and that makes them less pleasant stay. The staff is 10 in everything. Friendly and helpful.

The service is excellent. The more expensive rooms are huge, apartment-style and air-conditioned. The wooden cabins, more austere, have their charm. The whole property is beautiful, full of plants and animals. The location is ideal, 50 meters from the Caribbean, 2 km from downtown.

The rooms are spacious with Thai style. The pool is quite large and clean. The breakfasts are quite good, they also offer a choice of coffee and other hot drinks in the afternoon. It is close to the beach, you can walk to Chiquita through a path that is in good condition. The price is good for the services offered and the attention at the hotel was extraordinary.
